Plan an AI narration workflow around the videos you actually make. Start with your monthly workload, test a real script, and compare the full cost before choosing a subscription.
1. Estimate your monthly narration
Multiply the number of videos you expect to publish by the narration minutes in each video. Count spoken audio rather than the full video runtime. Include additional languages and channels separately.
Example: eight videos with six minutes of narration each need 48 finished audio minutes. If you generate half as much audio again for revisions, your planning estimate becomes 72 generated minutes. This is a workload example, not a provider credit conversion or price quote.
2. Test the parts that are hard to narrate
Use the same short script when comparing voices. Include a name, a number, a question, and a sentence with the emotion your videos need. Listen for pronunciation, pauses, pacing, and consistency. Record how many attempts it takes to get an acceptable result; that effort belongs in your budget too.
3. Compare the whole workflow
- Usage: write down the plan allowance, the model you intend to use, and how its billing units are measured. Do not assume a credit has the same value across tools or models.
- Revisions: check how regenerations are counted, whether extra usage is available, and what happens when the allowance runs out.
- Editing: test pronunciation controls, audio downloads, and how easily the result fits your video editor.
- Budget: compare the amount due now, the renewal price, and the billing period. Separate introductory offers from ongoing costs.
4. Check permissions before publishing
Read the current terms for your chosen plan and intended use. Check commercial-use permissions and any attribution requirements. If you want to clone a voice, confirm that you have the required permission from its owner. A voice subscription is only one part of your publishing workflow.
